401 Metcalf–Plaza travels along the Metcalf Avenue and Shawnee Mission Parkway corridors on weekday, serving Johnson County Community College on its southern end and the Country Club Plaza and UMKC on its northern end. Other key stops include 119th & Quivira Park & Ride, 95th & Metcalf, Mission Transit Center, and 47th St. & Mission Road. 401 serves many employment, retail and commercial destinations, as well as the Overland Park Convention Center and the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center.

Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden

The Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden is a public botanical garden that covers two acres. The gardens are maintained by the Kauffman Foundation and Powell Gardens. The Kaufmanns traveled the world and created a space that was comparable to parks that they had seen in Europe. There are more than 350 varieties of perennial plants in the garden, and flowerbeds that are replanted seasonally. With its fountains and sculptures, the garden offers beautiful and peaceful respite in the heart of Kansas City.

Overland Park Farmers' Market

Open on Saturdays from April to November and Wednesdays during the summer. Vendors line both edges of the Overland Park Farmers' Market, offering fruits, vegetables, baked goods, flowers and more.
