RideKC Mobility Services are available throughout the Kansas City region through partnerships with local transit providers and regional agencies.

Kansas City, Missouri

KCATA Freedom offers two types of services, ADA paratransit and non-ADA demand response. The ADA paratransit service is operated within ¾-mile of local bus routes and costs $4 per one-way trip. The non-ADA demand response service has a larger service area and cost is determined by the length of the trip. To utilize these services you must first go through the eligibility process. For questions about how to apply for and use the services please call (816) 842-9070, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Kansas City, Kansas/Wyandotte County

Unified Government Transit provides mobility transportation services for eligible riders throughout Wyandotte County.

ADA Paratransit

Transportation for riders with disabilities who are unable to independently use fixed-route bus service.

  • Service available within ¾-mile of local bus routes
  • Shared ride transportation
  • $4 one-way fare
  • Eligibility approval required

Senior Paratransit

Transportation service for adults ages 65 and older traveling throughout Wyandotte County.

  • Countywide transportation service
  • Shared ride transportation
  • $2 one-way fare
  • Eligibility approval required

Eligibility & Applications

Riders must complete the eligibility process before using ADA or Senior paratransit services.

Independence, Missouri

The City of Independence offers two mobility transportation services for eligible riders: IndeAccess and IndeAccess+.

IndeAccess

ADA paratransit service for riders with disabilities who are unable to independently use fixed-route bus service.

  • Shared ride transportation
  • $4 one-way fare

IndeAccess+

Transportation service for older adults traveling throughout the City of Independence.
