(Kansas City, Mo., April 27, 2023) – The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is pleased to announce that two special shuttles will operate during the NFL Draft. Visitors and locals can easily hop on the West Side or the East Side shuttles for a quick trip to a restaurant or museum.
When:
Thursday and Friday, April 27 and 28, 11 AM to 11 PM and Saturday, April 29, 8 AM to 8 PM
Approximately every 30 minutes
Where:
The West Side route will travel along Southwest Blvd. north of Union Station to 31st street. Highlights include Mexican restaurants along the Blvd., Boulevard Brewing Co, Ponak's and Minsky's Pizza.
The East Side route takes you through the East Crossroads entertainment and restaurant district, to the 18th and Vine Historic District, and to two famous KC BBQ joints: Arthur Bryant's and Gates Bar-B-Q. In the 18th & Vine District, you'll find the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the American Jazz Museum, the Black Archives of Mid America, and more restaurants.
How Much:
The RideKC West Side and East Side shuttles are free to ride! All RideKC buses and MAX routes are also zero fare, year round.
