Kansas City Irish Fest

September 3-7

To All: #27-27th Street, #31-31st Street, #50-Waldo/Brookside, #85-Paseo, #201-North Oak, #550-Lees Summit, and Extra Board Operators.

Due to the “Kansas City Irish Fest” Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm until event end (approximately September 7, 2026, 6:00 am), KCATA buses will re-route. Streets will probably close prior to the given time. Please inform OCC if you encounter the closure prior to the posted time. The following re-routes will be in effect:

201 - North Oak

Northbound: Continue north on Holmes to 19th St L(W) on 19th St to Grand R(N) on Grand to resume regular route

Southbound: Regular route to 19th and Grand L(E) on 19th St to Charlotte R(S) on Charlotte to 22nd St R(W) on 22nd St to Holmes R(N) on Holmes (take layover near 22nd and Holmes)

27 - 27th Street

Westbound: Regular route to 22nd and McGee R(N) on McGee to 20th St L(W) on 20th St to SW Blvd L(W) on SW Blvd to Broadway L(S) on Broadway to resume regular (take layover near SW Blvd and Summit)

Eastbound: From layover R(S) on Summit St to 25th St L(E) 25th St to Broadway L(N) on Broadway to SW Blvd R(E) on SW Blvd to 20th St R(E) on 20th St to McGee R(S) on McGee to 22nd St L(E) on 22nd St to resume regular route

31 - 31st Street

Westbound Out to 31st and Pennsylvania: Regular route to 20th and Grand R(W) on 20th St to SW Blvd L(W) on SW Blvd to Broadway L(S) on Broadway to resume regular route

Eastbound into Division: Regular route to Pershing and West Pennway, continue north onto Broadway to SW Blvd R(E) on SW Blvd onto 19th St, continue east on 19th St to Grand L(N) on Grand to 18th St R(E) on 18th St to Forest L(N) on Forest into farebox

50 - Brookside-Main

Northbound: Regular route to Pershing and West Pennway; continue north onto Broadway to SW Blvd R(E) on SW Blvd to 20th St R(E) on 20th St to Grand L(N) on Grand (layover at northbound bus stop)

Southbound: continue north on Grand L(W) on 19th St to SW Blvd L(W) on SW Blvd to Broadway L(S) on Broadway to resume regular route

550 - Lee's Summit Express

Southbound: Regular route to 20th and Grand R(W) on 20th St to SW Blvd L(W) on SW Blvd to Summit L(S) on Summit to 25th St L(E) on 25th St to Broadway L(N) on Broadway to SW Blvd R(E) on SW Blvd to 20th St R(E) on 20th St to Grand L(N) on Grand to resume regular route

85 - Paseo

Northbound: Regular route to 29th and Gillham, continuing north on Gillham onto Pershing Rd to McGee R(N) on McGee to 20th St L(W) on 20th St to Grand R(N) on Grand to resume regular route o

Southbound: Regular route to 20th and Grand L(E) on 20th St to McGee R(S) on McGee to Pershing L(E/S) on Pershing continuing onto Gillham to resume regular route
