New Route : 487 87th Street - MTC
There’s a new bus route in town, and new opportunities abound!
Beginning August 7, 2023, Johnson County Transit’s Ride KC services will offer the new Route 487, operating between the Lenexa City Center in Lenexa, KS, and the Mission Transit Center (MTC) in Mission, KS, via downtown Overland Park, KS and Prairie Village, KS. Route 487 is a critical link serving the 87th Street corridor and connects to existing Route 495 at the Lenexa City Center and several RideKC routes at MTC. The new zero-fare Route 487 also connects locals and visitors to some of Kansas City’s neighborhoods, as well as popular restaurants, shopping centers, trails and top attractions.

Hours of Service: 5 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday - Friday
Frequency of Service: Arrives every 60 minutes
