Most RideKC services offer regular transit service on Juneteenth holiday

Most RideKC Bus and MAX service will operate regular weekday service on Thursday, June 19. The KC Streetcar will also operate a regular weekday schedule.

RideKC routes operated by Unified Government Transit, including 199 Wyandotte County Micro Transit, will not offer service on June 19. All other RideKC routes, including those operated by KCATA in Kansas City, Kansas, will run regular weekday schedules.

RideKC Freedom will offer regular service throughout most of the region. RideKC Freedom operated by Unified Government Transit will not offer trips within Wyandotte County. Trips that start or end outside of Wyandotte County will still be provided by RideKC Freedom.

The Regional Call Center will be taking calls from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. RideKC Freedom will be scheduling trips from 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. KCATA offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.
