June 7: Juneteenth Parade Detours
Prospect MAX, 18 Indiana and 71 Prospect detour for Juneteenth Parade
Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., RideKC’s Prospect MAX, 18 Indiana, 19 East-West Connector, and 71 Prospect will be rerouted for the Juneteenth Cultural Parade. The Parade travels from The Grove Park near 16th & Benton to the 18th & Vine District. For more information about the parade, visit https://www.juneteenth-kc.com/parade.
Prospect MAX and 71 Prospect: Northbound buses will travel the regular route to 23rd and Prospect, go east on 23rd, north on Indiana, west on Truman Road, and Prospect MAX buses will go north on Prospect to resume the regular route.
Southbound buses will travel the regular route to Truman Road and Prospect, go east on Truman Road, south on Indiana, west on 23rd, and south on Prospect to resume the regular route.
18 Indiana: Northbound buses will travel the regular route to 18th and Indiana, continue north on Indiana, west on Truman Road, south on Paseo, and west on 18th to resume the regular route.
Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 18th and Paseo, go north on Paseo, east on Truman Road, and south on Indiana to resume the regular route.
19 East-West Connector: Eastbound buses will travel the regular route to 18th and Paseo, go north on Paseo, east on Truman, and north on Brooklyn to resume the regular route.
Westbound buses will travle the regular route to Truman Road and Brooklyn, go west on Truman Road, south on Paseo, and west on 18th to resume the regular route.
