As the Kansas City region begins to slowly reopen, RideKC has created a tentative framework to restore service as the region weathers the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Central to our plan is connecting people to opportunities, and ensuring access for jobs and services at hospitals, other medical care, pharmacies, grocery and food services, and other essential services.

Transit App Replaces RideKC App

RideKC will begin using Transit as its official app for trip planning and real-time information, effective May 6. When fare collection resumes in the Kansas City area, Transit will also allow customers to pay their fare with the app. This will replace the existing RideKC app.

Revised Layover Policy Effective Immediately
