Fares & Passes

Service Bulletin | September 7: Regional Transit Providers Observe Labor Day Holiday

Area transit providers will observe the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 7. East Village Transit Center will be open Saturday, September 5 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. for pass sales. There will be no pass sales at East Village Transit Center on September 7.

KCATA:

KCATA offices will be closed on Monday, September 7. KCATA operated buses will operate on Sunday/Holiday Schedule on Monday, September 7

KCK:

Unified Government Transit routes will not offer service on Labor Day.
RideKC Freedom paratransit will not provide trips, and dispatch and the administrative offices will also be closed.

Johnson County:

Johnson County offices will be closed, and service will not operate. Regular Service will resume on Tuesday, September 8

Streetcar:

KC Streetcar will operate normal service hours during the Labor Day Weekend.
