Here is some information about the upcoming introduction of fares and passes for RideKC transit services.

Fares & Passes

Service Bulletin | Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk 10/24

Bus Maps & Timetables

Effective October 24

RideKC buses will reroute Saturday, Oct. 24, from 6 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m. due to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Street closures may begin earlier than scheduled.

Riders should plan ahead and allow additional travel time. Delays and temporary changes to boarding locations are expected throughout downtown Kansas City and surrounding areas.

Affected Routes: 27, 50, 85, 201

Additional Bus Routing – West-End Terminals

Outbound: Right on 18th Street, left on Charlotte Street, right on 22nd Street, left on Oak Street continuing onto Gillham Road, right on 27th Street, right on Main Street, then left on Pershing Road to resume the regular route.

Inbound: Regular route to Pershing Road and Main Street. Right on Main Street, left on 27th Street, left on Gillham Road continuing onto Oak Street, right on 22nd Street, left on Holmes Street, right on 18th Street, then left on Forest Avenue into the farebox area.

27 - 27th Street

Eastbound: Regular route to Pershing Road and Main Street. Right on Main Street, left on 27th Street, left on Gillham Road continuing onto Oak Street, right on 22nd Street, right on Charlotte Street, left on 25th Street, right on Troost Avenue, then left on 27th Street to resume the regular route.

Westbound: Regular route to 27th Street and Troost Avenue. Right on Troost Avenue, left on 25th Street, right on Holmes Street, left on 22nd Street, left on Oak Street continuing onto Gillham Road, right on 27th Street, right on Main Street, then left on Pershing Road to resume the regular route.

50 - Brookside-Main

Southbound: Regular route.

Northbound: Regular route to 25th Street and Broadway. Left on 25th Street, right on Summit Street, right on Southwest Boulevard, right on Broadway, then continue to 25th Street. Take layover at 25th Street and Broadway.

85 - Paseo

Northbound: Regular route to 29th Street and Gillham Road. Continue north on Gillham Road onto Oak Street, right on 22nd Street, left on Holmes Street, left on 11th Street, then right on Grand Boulevard to resume the regular route.

Southbound: Regular route to 12th Street and Grand Boulevard. Left on 12th Street, right on Charlotte Street, right on 22nd Street, then left on Oak Street continuing onto Gillham Road to resume the regular route.

201 - North Oak

Northbound: Continue north on Holmes Street, left on Truman Road, right on Locust Street, right on 14th Street, left on Holmes Street, then right on 12th Street to resume the regular route.

Southbound: Regular route to East Village Transit Center. Left on Charlotte Street, right on 22nd Street, then right on Holmes Street. Take layover at 22nd Street and Holmes Street.
