The Student Pass Program is a partnership between KCATA, Kansas City Public Schools, Hickman Mills School District and Center Public School District to give 9th through 12th graders free access to public transportation throughout the region. The one-year pilot launched at 12 schools allows thousands of students to connect to jobs, internships, extracurricular activities, shopping and WiFi hotspots. The passes are valid on any RideKC bus route except 510 K-10 Connector. Students will receive the photo I.D. from their schools in early November and can use them until they expire July 31, 2019.
RideKC buses are equipped with audio/video surveillance, free WiFi and real-time tracking. Download the free RideKC App on your Apple or Android device by searching “RideKC” in your App/Play store to plan your trip and track your ride.
