Johnson County Transit - Bus Service Changes

Date:January 08, 2026
Effective:Mar 01, 2026

Routes 563 & 569 Ending Service
As part of Johnson County Transit’s Strategic Plan implementation, Routes 563 and 569 will end service.  The last day of service will be Friday, February 28.  These changes align bus service with current funding, ridership, and operational needs.

What This Means for Riders

  • Routes 563 and 569 will no longer operate after February 28
  • Riders may need to adjust how they travel
  • Other fixed route options may be available depending on your trip

Updated maps and meeting information are posted on the 2025 Strategic Plan page at www.jocogov.org/transit.
