Kansas City, Mo. (Dec. 19, 2025) - The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Ks., in partnership with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA), announce that the 107 7th St. route is extending to the new Plaza stop for convenient Streetcar connections.
From 43rd and State Line Road, the route will travel east on 43rd street, southeast on Roanoke Parkway, and east on 47th through the Country club Plaza before reaching the Plaza Streetcar stop. The new map can be seen below.
The change will go into effect Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
"The rerouting of 107 7th Street to connect directly with the Plaza and the KC Streetcar marks a significant step forward for our community,” said Deasiray Bush, Transit Director for the Unified Government. “This new connection will greatly enhance mobility, making it easier for residents and visitors to access the heart of our city. By improving transit options and fostering greater accessibility, we are strengthening our community's economic vitality and social cohesion. This development truly represents a brighter, more connected future for all of us."
