RideKC Micro Transit is an affordable ride-hailing transportation option. It is available in parts of Johnson and Wyandotte counties, as well as the City of Leavenworth.
199 Micro Transit
Service Hours: 5:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
Service Area: State Ave. on the north, 72nd on the west, the Kansas River and Metropolitan on the south and 42nd and I-635 on the east. The service area also includes Shawnee Plaza and Merriam Town Center in Johnson County.
Fare: $1.50 with in the Microtransit/TransLoc app or with exact cash in vehicle.

499 Micro Transit
Service Hours: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m., Sunday through Saturday
Service Area: State Line Road on the east, County Line Road on the north, 151st on the south. Renner Road will be the western boundary from County Line Rd. to College Blvd. South of College, the zone will include K-7, and south of 135th the route will be expanded along I-35, and will include the Edgerton Intermodal Area. The Plaza and Ward Parkway Shopping Center also in the Micro Transit service area.
Fare: $3 or $5 with in the RideKC Micro Transit app or with exact cash in vehicle.
Trips will use either a Micro Transit van or a taxi.

RideLV
Service Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
Service Area: City of Leavenworth city limits
Fare: $2 with in the Iris RideCO app or with exact cash in vehicle.

In Johnson County, you can take Micro Transit anywhere within the 80-mile service area shown below. The service area includes Downtown Overland Park, Mission Transit Center and KU Edwards Campus. Destinations include AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, Oak Park Mall, Johnson County Community College, Merriam Town Center, MidAmerica Nazarene University, Olathe South High School, Olathe Health, Johnson County Administration Building, Edgerton Intermodal Area, Country Club Plaza, Ward Parkway, Prairiefire, and Gardner.

2. Open the app and create an account.
3. Book a trip by selecting trip purpose, any mobility aids. Confirm your pick-up location and select your drop-off location. These must be within the service's region parameters shown on the map. Change your pick-up time by scheduling now or selecting a new time and date to schedule your ride ahead of time.
4. Select your payment option.
5. Book your trip.
6. After you’re done booking you’ll see it displayed in your upcoming trip list. You’ll get a window during which you’ll be picked up for your trip. Keep the app open to stay informed on your ride status.

In Wyandotte County, you can take Micro Transit anywhere within the service area shown below. The service area includes the Midtown KCK Transit Center at 47th & State Ave., Santa Fe Industrial Area, KCKCC Tech Center and the Amazon Fulfillment Center. 199 Micro Transit also serves ALDI, Happy Foods West, Jones Bar-B-Q, as well as Cambridge at River Oaks Apartments, Terrace Pointe Apartments, Skyline Apartments, Shawnee Plaza in the Turner neighborhood, and Merriam Town Center in Johnson County.

2. Open the app and review the available services. Choose the service you want to use by tapping "Book a Ride."
3. Confirm your pick-up location and select your drop-off location. These must be within the service's region paramaters shown on the map. Change your pick-up time by tapping “ ASAP” and selecting a new time and date to schedule your ride ahead of time.
4. Select the number of passengers with you, and if you need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. Tap "Request Ride" when ready.
5. The first time you use the app, the system will require you to log in or create an account* with TransLoc (the company behind the app). *This is a free account, and your information will not be shared, however, you will need to include your mobile phone number if you would like to receive text message notifications.
6. Keep the app open to stay informed on your ride status.
