June 8: Pridefest Parade Detours

Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., RideKC’s Main MAX, 35 35th Street, and 47 Broadway will be rerouted for the Pridefest Parade. The Parade travels from Westport to Theis Park via Broadway Blvd and 47th/Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd.  For more information about the parade, visit the Pridefest website.

Main MAX: Northbound buses will travel the regular route to South Ward Parkway and Mill Creek Parkway, continue west on South Ward Parkway, north on Broadway, west on 47th, north on Madison, continue north on Southwest Trafficway, east on 39th, and north on Broadway to resume the regular route.
Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 39th and Broadway, go west on 39th, south on Southwest Trafficway, continue south on Belleview, south on Roanoke, east on 47th, south on Broadway, east on Ward Parkway, and south on Mill Creek Parkway to resume the regular route.

35 35th Street: From a layover at 47th and Wyandotte, eastbound buses will go  west on 47th St, west on Roanoke, east on Westport Road, north on SW Trafficway, and east on 39th  to resume the regular route.
Westbound buses will travel the regular route to 39th and Baltimore, go west on 39th, south on SW Trafficway, west on Westport Road, south on Roanoke, east on 47th, south on Broadway, east on Ward Parkway, and north on Wyandotte. Buses will lay over between 47th and Wyandotte.

47 Broadway: Eastbound buses will travel the regular route to 39th and Broadway, go west on 39th, south on SW Trafficway, east on 43rd, south on Broadway, east on Ward Parkway, south on Milll Creek Parkway, east on Ward Parkway South onto MLK boulevard, north on Oak, and east on Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard to resume the regular route.
Westbound buses will travel the regular route to Emmanuel Cleaver II and and Oak, so south on Oak, west on MLK Boulevard, north on Brookside, west on Ward Parkway, north on Broadway, west on 43rd, north on Madison onto SW Trafficway, east on 39th, and north on Broadway to resume the regular route.
