June 6: Pridefest Parade Detours
Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., RideKC’s 35 35th Street, 50 Wornall-Brookside, and 47 Broadway will be rerouted for the Pridefest Parade. The Parade travels from Westport to Theis Park via Broadway Blvd and 47th/Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. For more information about the parade, visit the Pridefest website.
35 35th Street: From a layover at 47th and Wyandotte, eastbound buses will go west on 47th St, north on Broadway, west on 43rd St., north on SW Trafficway, and east on 39th, and north on Broadway to resume the regular route.
Westbound buses will travel the regular route to 39th and Broadway, go west on 39th, south on SW Trafficway, east on 43rd, south on Broadway, east on Ward Parkway, and north on Wyandotte. Buses will lay over between 47th and Wyandotte.
47 Martin Luther King, Jr: Westbound buses will travel the regular route to Troost and Emanuel Cleaver II boulevard, go south on Troost, west on MLK Boulevard, north on Brookside, west on Ward Parkway, north on Wyandotte, and west on 47th to resume the regular route.
Eastbound buses will travel the regular route to 47th and Wyandotte, go south on Wyandotte, east on Ward Parkway, south on Millcreek Parkway, east on Ward Parkway, east on MLK Boulevard, north on Troost, and East on Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard to resume the regular route.
50 Wornall Brookside: Southbound buses will go west on Ward Parkway, south on Broadway, south on Ward Parkway, and south on Main to resume the regular route.
Northbound buses will travel the regular route to 49th and Main, go north on Main, west on Ward Parkway, north on Baltimore, west on Ward Parkway, and north on Wyandotte to layover.
