Labor Day Service

Holiday transit service in KC area

Area transit providers will observe the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 2. Regular weekday service will resume Tuesday, Sept. 3.

RideKC routes operated by KCATA will use Sunday/Holiday schedules on Labor Day. The Regional Call Center and administrative offices will be closed.

RideKC Freedom paratransit office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and paratransit service will be provided in eligible areas.

KC Streetcar will operate 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, and Sunday, Sept. 1, and 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 2.

RideKC in Johnson County will not offer service on Labor Day. Micro Transit and other routes in Johnson County will not run on Monday, Sept. 2. 499 Micro Transit will run on Saturday, Aug. 31, and Sunday, Sept. 1. 
RideKC Freedom paratransit will not provide trips, and dispatch and the administrative offices will also be closed on Labor Day.

RideKC/Unified Government Transit routes will not offer service on Labor Day.
