Sept. 1-4: Irish Fest Detour at Crown Center

RideKC Reroutes Buses for Irish Fest at Crown Center

From Friday, Sept. 1,to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, RideKC will reroute the following buses in the Crown Center area for Kansas City Irish Fest.

Main MAX, 47 Broadway: Northbound buses will take the regular route to Broadway and Pershing, continuing north onto West Pennway and onto Southwest Blvd., east on 20th St., and north on Grand to resume the regular route. Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 20th and Grand, go west on 20th, west on Southwest Blvd., and south on Broadway to resume the regular route.

27 27th Street: Eastbound buses will continue south on Broadway, go west 25th, north on Summit, east Southwest Blvd., east onto 20th, south on McGee, and east on 22nd to resume the regular route. Westbound buses will travel the regular route to 22nd and McGee, go north on McGee, west on 20th onto Southwest Blvd., and south on Broadway, to lay over at 25th and Broadway.

85 Paseo: Northbound buses will travel the regular route to 29th and Gillham, continue north on Gillham onto Oak, west on 22nd, north on McGee, west on 20th, and north on Grand to resume the regular route. Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 20th and Grand, go east on 20th , south on McGee, east on 22nd, south on Oak merging onto Gillham, and continue south on Gillham to resume the regular route.

201 North Oak: From the layover, northbound buses will continue south on Warwick Trafficway, east on 27th, north on Gillham, north on Oak, west on 22nd, north on McGee, west on 20th, and north on Grand to resume the regular route. Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 20th and Grand, go east on 20th, south on McGee, east on 22nd, south on Oak, south onto Gillham, west on 27th, north on McGee Trafficway to 26th, west on 27th, and south on Warwick Trafficway to lay over on 26th and Warwick Trafficway.

550 Lee’s Summit Express, 570 Blue Springs Express: In the afternoon, buses will travel the regular route to Pershing and Broadway, continue south on Broadway, pick up passengers at 25th and Broadway, west on 25th, north on Summit, east on Southwest Blvd., east on 20th, and north on Grand to resume the regular route.

404 Metcalf-Downtown, 519 Olathe Express, 520 Strang Line Express, 563 Shawnee Express, 569 South OP Express, 595 Gardener-OP Express: Buses will travel the regular route to downtown, go east on Pershing, north on Main, east on 20th, and north on Grand to resume the regular route.
