Changes Coming to 510 K-10 Connector

Date:May 16, 2024
Effective:May 16, 2024

The 510 K-10 Connector, that operates between Overland Park, KS and Lawrence, KS, will begin service to Lawrence’s Central Station Transit Center on June 3, 2024. Central Station has eight covered bays and amenities, including public restrooms, an indoor waiting area, bike racks and bike lockers, and digital signs with bus arrival information.

To accommodate this change, 510 K-10 Connector will no longer serve the Peaslee Technical Training Center or the on-campus stop on Naismith Drive. Passengers can ride Lawrence’s bus route 8 to travel between Central Station and Peaslee Tech and ride Lawrence’s bus routes 4, 8, 11 & 30 to travel between Central Station and campus. Central Station will be the only stop in Lawrence for the 510 K-10 Connector.

The 510 K-10 Connector will also eliminate underutilized trips, including those before 6 AM and after 6 PM.

The last day for 510 K-10 Connector regular service is scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2024.

The 510 K-10 Connector will operate break service from Monday, May 13, 2024, through Friday, August 23, 2024, without service on Monday, May 27, 2024, and Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of Memorial Day and Independence Day respectively.

Break service is specified on the 510 K-10 Connector schedule and includes the summer term, school breaks, and holidays.

The first day of the Fall semester is scheduled for Monday, August 26, 2024.
