229 Detour for Bridge Closure

229 Boardwalk-KCI to Detour for Bridge Closure through Fall 2024 

Starting 6 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 5, RideKC’s 229 Boardwalk-KCI will detour for the closure of the Buck O’Neil Bridge. The Buck O’Neil Bridge is expected to reopen in Fall 2024.

Northbound buses will travel the regular route to 6th and Broadway, go east on 6th St., continue left onto I-70 East, and north on I-29 North to resume the regular route.

Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 56th and Prairie View, continue south onto I-29 south, west on I-70 West, and take the Broadway exit go south on Broadway to resume the regular route.
