Johnson County to Suspend Three Routes due to Ridership Shifts
Based on a comprehensive review of current usage and service efficiency, RideKC Johnson County will suspend three transit routes effective Dec. 31, 2023. The following routes will be affected by this suspension:
- 482 Overland Park Flex
- 519 Olathe Express
- 595 Gardner-OP Express
Alternative transportation options should be considered during this period.
Alternatives to the 482 Overland Park Flex include:
- 401 Metcalf-Plaza
- 403 Antioch -Olathe
- 404 Metcalf-Downtown
- 487 87th Street
- 499 Micro Transit
- RideKC Freedom for eligible residents of Johnson County.
Alternatives to the 519 Olathe Express include:
- 403 Antioch -Olathe
- 499 Micro Transit
- 520 Strang Line Express
- RideKC Freedom for eligible residents of Johnson County.
