June 3: Hospital Hill Run

Buses Detour for Hospital Hill Half-Marathon Run

Saturday, June 3, RideKC will reroute buses in the Crown Center, Plaza, Midtown and Brookside areas for the Hospital Hill Half-Marathon, 10K and 5K run. The following reroutes will be in effect from approximately 6 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Main MAX: Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 11th and Grand, go west on 11th St, south on Broadway, west on Ward Parkway, and south on Wornall to resume the regular route. Northbound buses will travel the regular route to Wornall and Meyer, continue north on Wornall, east on Ward Parkway, south Baltimore, north on Millcreek, continuing north onto Broadway, east on 12th, and north on Grand to resume the regular route.

27 27th Street: Eastbound buses take the regular route to Pershing & Main, then north on Main, east on 20th, south on McGee and east on 22nd to resume the regular route. Westbound buses will take the regular route to 22nd & McGee, north on McGee, west on 20th, south on Main and west on Pershing to resume the regular route. Expect delays at 20th & Grand and 22nd & Oak. 

31 31st Street: Buses will travel the regular route. Expect delays at 31st & Gillham.

35 35th Street: Buses will travel the regular route. Expect delays at Armour & Gillham.

39 39th Street: Buses will travel the regular routes. Expect delays at 39th & Gillham.

47 Broadway: Eastbound buses will travel the regular route to 11th & Grand, go west on 11th, south on Broadway, east on 39th, south on Paseo, and east on Emanuel Cleaver II to resume the regular route. Westbound buses will travel the regular route to Emanuel Cleaver II & Paseo, north Paseo, west on 39th St., north on Broadway, continue north on West Pennway, north onto Broadway, and east on 12th to resume the regular route. Expect delays at 39th & Gillham.

63 63rd Street: Westbound buses will travel the regular route to 63rd & Troost, south on Troost, west on Meyer, south to Brookside Road, west on 65th Street, north on Wornall, east on Meyer lay over at Brookside Road and Meyer. Eastbound buses will continue east on Meyer, north on Troost, and east on 63rd to resume the regular route.

85 Paseo: Northbound buses will travel the regular route to Armour and Troost, go north on Troost, west on 27th, north on Holmes, west on 13th, and north on Grand to resume the regular route. Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 12th and Grand, go east on 12th, south on Charlotte, east on 27th, south on Troost, and east on Armour to resume the regular route.

201 North Oak: From the layover, northbound buses will continue north on holmes, and east on 12th to resume the regular route. Southbound buses will travel the regular route to 13th and Charlotte, go south on Charlotte, west on 22nd and north on Holmes  to lay over at 22nd and Holmes.
