Johnson County Transit offers public transportation to much of Johnson County, downtown Kansas City, Mo., Kansas City, Ks., and other outlying areas with most routes running during morning and afternoon rush hour. Johnson County services are now managed by KCATA, which results in greater coordination and effienciency. Special Edition provides shared ride program providing affordable curb-to-curb transportation services to eligible Johnson County residents.
