July 7: Service Changes Coming to Kansas City, Kansas
Effective Monday, July 7, 2025, several key updates will be made to bus service in Kansas City, Kansas. Please review the following changes carefully, as they may affect your travel plans:
Route Eliminations
- Route 118 18th Street will be discontinued.
- Route 113 Leavenworth will be discontinued.
Service Transfers to the Unified Government Transportation Department
- Route 106 Quindaro and Route 104 Argentine will now be operated by the Unified Government.
- Route 104 Argentine will continue to run with no changes.
- Route 106 Quindaro will extend its service to 72nd & Leavenworth Road and end at KCKCC.
- Please note: Both routes will no longer operate on weekends.
Bus Route Adjustments
- Route 116 West Parallel will now begin at KCKCC and end at the Walmart Legends.
- Route 103 3rd Street will shift to serve the Northeast area instead of Downtown Missouri and will end at 7th & Minnesota Avenue.
