Main Street MAX: The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority is seeking public input about a proposal that would move service to Grand Boulevard from Main Street downtown. The proposed route would travel along Grand Boulevard from 3rd Street in the River Market to Pershing & Grand. MAX service on Wyandotte between 16th and 12th Street would be eliminated. Weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedules will be adjusted for improved on-time performance.
Troost MAX: The southern end of route will move to Three Trails Transit Center at Banister and Blue Ridge from Bannister and Drury. Weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedules will adjusted because the route will be extended to the Three Trails Transit Center. Saturday and Sunday frequencies will be modified. Service along Marion Ridge, East 96th Place and Hillcrest Road will end because the Bannister and Drury Park and Ride lot will be closed.
23 23rd Street: Route modified for better connections to Kansas City Health Department and Truman Medical Center. Eastbound/westbound service to travel on Troost Avenue between 23rd and 25th Street and then on Charlotte and Holmes through Truman Medical Center. End of the westbound route to be determined.
25 Troost: Staff is soliciting passenger input on possible service changes.
