Customer Lobby Closed, Lost and Found Policy Changes: Updated 4/24

Due to increased efforts to protect our passengers and employees from COVID-19 (coronavirus), effective immediately, the KCATA is making changes to its lost and found policy and closing the Customer Service Lobby.

Lost and Found Changes

Starting Monday, April 27th, The Lost and Found office will be open Monday and Thursdays by appointment only. Please call Lost and Found at 816-346-0265 to make an appointment.

The KCATA made changes to its lost and found policy in March.
The KCATA will only store essential items in lost and found for five days. This includes keys, wallets, purses, mobile phones, laptops, eyeglasses, and medication. All other items, except bicycles, will be discarded.

Customer Service Lobby

The Customer Service Lobby at 1200 E. 18th Street is temporarily closed, effective March 17 until further notice, due to concerns around COVID-19.

Additionally, KCATA is no longer hosting on-site meetings at its facility
