RideKC will changes several routes, effective Sunday, April 4. New schedules are available.
Several of these changes will restore or increase service on routes where ridership has grown. Some routes will only have minor schedule changes.
12 12th Street: Route frequency will be increased to 45 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays, due to ridership demand. In addition, weekday service will use large buses, due to high ridership on certain trips. Sunday schedules will have minor time changes of less than 5 minutes, but with no change to overall service levels or frequency.
28 Blue Ridge: On weekdays and Saturdays, northbound scheduled times will change by up to 20 minutes. Southbound times will change by less than 5 minutes. There is no change to frequency.
29 Blue Ridge Limited: The route will resume regular weekday service. The route will operate every 30 minutes during the morning and afternoon rush hours only.
35 35th Street: Schedules will change by up to 30 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays. 35 will run the same schedule weekdays and Saturdays. On Sundays, times will change by less than 5 minutes. The route and the frequency of service stay the same.
77 Casino Cruiser: On weekdays, 77 will use large buses due to high ridership on several trips. Scheduled times will not change.
229 KCI-Boardwalk: The route will resume regular weekday service and scheduled times will change. The route will operate every 30 minutes during the morning and afternoon rush hours, and hourly during midday and evening hours. Saturday and Sunday service will not change.
