Two routes between Johnson County and Kansas City, Mo. that added evening service in July will add more trips beginning Oct. 29, 2018. 401 Metcalf-Plaza and 475 Quivira-75th Street will now offer service approximately every hour on weeknights. These changes will improve access to jobs, education and shopping. Existing daytime and evening trip times will not change. See the new schedules above.
401 is adding northbound trips beginning at Rosana Square at 7:44 p.m. and 9:44 p.m., and southbound trips starting at 51st & Troost at 6:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
475 Quivira-75th Street is adding northbound trips beginning at KU-Edwards Campus at 7:50 p.m. and 10:10 p.m., and a southbound trip starting at 75th & Troost at 9:03 p.m.
Both routes connect to other RideKC routes, including Main MAX and Troost MAX.
401 Metcalf-Plaza destinations include UMKC, Rockhurst University, Country Club Plaza, KU Westwood Cancer Center, Mission Transit Center, Downtown Overland Park, Downtown Mission and Rosana Square.
475 Quivira-75th Street destinations include KU Edwards Campus, Johnson County Community College, Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Oak Park Mall, Shawnee Mission Medical Center and Waldo.
The added times will be part of the Flex Route service: These trips are flex trips that will deviate within ¾ mile of the route in Johnson County to provide curb-to-curb service. The bus will still travel to all time points, but may flex between time points. Call 913.362.3500 at least one business day in advance to schedule a flex trip.
